Event Report
The Walla Walla NDEW Event was held in conjunction with the 21'st annual Wheelin' Walla Walla - a main street car show featuring classics to current vehicles and drawing around 400 participants and three to five thousand visitors including City and regional leadership. The event saw five plug in electric vehicles participating. A Nissan Leaf (2012), a Tesla Model X (2016), a Tesla Roadster (2013), a Chevrolet Volt (2017) and a Volkswagon Karman-Ghia conversion. While few in number, the electric vehicles drew visitors' attention, questions, and commentary throughout the duration of the well attended event. We look forward to hosting more plug-in electric vehicles in 2018 and continuing to advocate for widespread adoption.
