Event Report
We had many EVs, 30 cars (including 2 Bolts, Model X, several older conversions), 10 scooters, a Zero motorcycle, 20 ft pontoon with a converted outboard.
I think this year we had a more knowledgeable crowd with much better questions.
James Become, Leader of the Green Party of Manitoba attended. Other politicians do not; current Manitoba administration is against EVs and any encouragement of EV adoption.
Event Description
The Manitoba Electric Vehicle Association will host their sixth annual MEVAfest, our festival of electric vehicles.
We show cars, trucks, buses, SUVs, bicycles, boats, scooters, and anything else we can find that is propelled by an electric motor. Some are old, some are new. The show includes battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
You can talk directly to owners of factory build EVs and owner and builders of converted EVs. MEVA has a wealth of knowledge and experience with EVs that they love to share.
Go for a ride in your favourite EV. Or all of them. :-)
Everyone is welcome. Admission is free. Bring friends and family.
