Meet the Owners at Metuchen Farmer's Market. This is the last year they will likely have parking for our event as the new condo dwellers downtown will take the spots that we need for the event. Next year we will probably only have 6-8 cars.

Event Description

Are you considering going electric? Come talk to owners who have successfully made the switch, maybe take a test drive, and leave with some fresh locally grown produce!

Help us celebrate by bringing your plug-in vehicle and showing attendees that they are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

If you haven't made the switch, come and talk to owners who have. National Drive Electric Week, September 9-17, 2017, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars. If anybody is making a longer trip to get here and needs to charge, the nearby Nexus Parking offers five level 2 charging stations.
