Event Report

ACUA’s second annual National Drive Electric Week celebration raised awareness about electric vehicles and the need for additional electric vehicle charging infrastructure. EV owners drove to the event to give the public a chance to see, touch and drive the vehicles. There were a wide variety of vehicles on display, and this year we were pleased to have two local car dealers Chapman Ford and Shore Toyota participate. Speakers included Chuck Feinberg, chairman of the New Jersey Clean Cities Coalition, Steve Mazur of South Jersey Transportation Authority and Toni Granato and Andrea Coniglio of the Sierra Club, New Jersey Chapter, which also helped to publicize the event.
