The lot has 15 charging stations that were installed several years ago by a private company that had received ARRA funds. The event included display of 15 electric vehicles, representing a wide variety of makes and models, 2 electric bicycles, and displays from 6 solar PV installers. In addition, Sunny 102 radio did a live broadcast from the event, there were four local musicians and two food trucks from local vendors. Several New York State legislators were in attendance and a representative of the Syracuse Common Council. Several local TV stations did live interviews and covered the event on their evening news programs. A company offered free car detailing services for our volunteers, and CarCharging/Blink offered free charging for the volunteers during the event.
