Event Report
The following vehicles were on display one time or another at our event.
- 5 BMW i3s
- 1BMW SUV
- 3 BMW i8s
- 3 Teslas (i.e., 1S and 2 roadsters)
- 1 Chevy Volt
- 1 Ford C-Max Energi
- 1 Nissan Leaf
- 1 DeLorean converted to electric
We also had 2 solar companies present, Solar City and Empower. Turnout was extremely light compared to past events, thought to be attributable to the fact that it was held in a dealership parking lot, great weather for people to go to the beach, and people attending to school needs for their kids.
Event Description
Please join us in Freeport on September 10 to see many of the latest models all electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles now in the show rooms of local car dealers. Meet with vehicle owners to learn about the many benefits of owning an energy efficient vehicle and how you can help reduce emissions while enjoying increased fuel economy. You may even have a chance to drive one or more vehicles on display!
