Event Report
Our event for the Southeast Florida region this year was located along the picturesque Flagler Drive waterfront in West Palm Beach adjacent to the Meyer Amphitheater. Families gathered in the afternoon and early evening to hear a live country western concert and browse the wide variety of plug-in electric cars on display. The event provided four hours of opportunities for EV enthusiasts to visit with one another and share their experiences with the general public. Our display included a 2012 Fisker Karma, an all electric modified “Lamborgreenie”, BMW i8, Porsche Panamera hybrid, electric motorcycles, a converted plug-in electric transit bus and an array of Teslas (including a Model X), BMW i3’s, Nissan Leafs, Ford Fusions, Chevy Volts, Volvos and Smart for Twos –totaling around 700,000 electric miles driven.
