Our NDEW event was held at the Valley Junction Farmers Market. The event was primarily made up of EV and PHEV owners who brought their cars and motorcycles to share with the public. There were 2 auto dealers who brought cars. 2 dealers called at the last second to say they had no eligible vehicles in inventory and 3 auto dealers were no-shows with no notice. On the whole most dealers are less than enthused to participate. The highlight of the evening was the display of the Iowa State University PrISUm solar electric car, Phaeton 2. It drew a lot of attention and gathered a crowd.
I could not get a good crowd shot because the cars were spread out in lines down the block and the crowd was spread out too.
