Event Report
We had RSVPs for 80, but only about 20 trickled through. It was expected to be a low turnout, given the last minute decision to have one. We'll plan ahead and improve on it for next year.
Event Description
Join us at the electric vehicle charging stations under the solar port in the Civic Auditorium parking lot. (just North of the Main St. entrance) Coffee and bagels will be provided. Parking is free for 30 minutes, $1/hr after that and $5 max.
This is meant to be a gathering of plug-in owners and enthusiasts to share their experiences and interests. For permitting and other reasons, please do NOT provide test rides in the parking lot during this social event. Please schedule rides/drives in personal vehicles off-site &/or after the gathering.
Test drives of OEM vehicles will be available at the AltCar Expo at the Civic Auditorium from 10am to 5pm, Friday 09/18 & Saturday 09/19 . The 10th Annual Alternative Energy and Transportation Exhibition, AltCar Expo offers free test drives from many manufacturers, as well as educational sessions and transportation energy related exhibitors.
