Event Report

Electric cars were part of the annual parade at Haverford Township Day! After the parade, the vehicles were parked in the Environmental Advisory Committee's (EAC) green zone for people to see and sit in. The vehicle's owners happily answered questions about their vehicles. The line up included a Tesla Cybertruck, Bryn Mawr College's electric school bus, an electric motorcycle, and the township's own Chevrolet Bolt. Haverford Township is an environmental leader in Delaware County, by purchasing Carbon free electricity, having installed electric car chargers, and continuing to purchase electric cars for police and township use, as approved in the township's Climate Action Plan.
