Event Report
We partnered with our local public transit authority and they showcased their Electric Bus fleet. A local dealer brought 4 new EV's of assorted models. We also partnered with the ASES National Solar Tour, and a tour bus with 12 attendees showed up. Chad from the Sierra Club gave a public presentation. Julia Schick from Laketran gave a public presentation. Tom Rapini coordinating the EV Rally and ASES solar tour gave a public presentation. Classic Auto Group of Mentor brought Electric Vehicles. The event was mentioned in a front page article in our local newspaper the News Herald.Event Description
The Laketran Wickliffe Park-n-Ride will host our Electric Vehicle Rally as part of the Ohio “Wish You Were Here” Tour, organized by the American Solar Energy Society. The Electric Vehicle Rally will be held on Friday, October 4th, from 10 am to 11:30am. Come learn about Laketran's electric bus fleet and check out assorted makes and models of EV's brought by area car dealers. Feel free to share your EV experiences with attendees and guests when our guided tour bus arrives at 10:00 am
Laketran will open their four charging stations up for FREE charging during the rally for any of you facing a long return drive!
Already we have committed appearance from a Tesla Cybertruck Beast, a Tesla Model Y, a Ford Lightning Pickup, a Hyundai Ioniq, a Toyota Prius Prime, a Chevy Bolt, and a Nissan Leaf !!!
