Event Report
The NDEW event was organized and hosted by the Exeter Energy. Committee, and held in Exeter's downtown in the plaza in front of our community's Town Hall. We had about 20 electric cars on exhibit including four test drive vehicles from local dealers. One local dealer who focuses the sale of pre-owned EVs (Greenwave) attended for the first time. Exhibitors included Revision Energy, installer of solar arrays, heat pumps and home EV chargers, Unitil, the local Utility and the event host, the Exeter Energy Committee. There were a number of folks shopping for their first EV who attended and took advantage of the opportunity to test drive multiple vehicles. Lots of good information sharing and myth busting was provided by the 15 or so showcase vehicle owners who attended. Vehicles attracting the most attention included two CyberTrucks, a Ford F150 Lightning, two Hyundai Ioniqs, a Caddilac Lyriq and an early model RAV4 PEV (2012). Public turnout for the event was relatively light compared to past years, due (we think) in part to a hiatus in the event that occurred during and after COVID, limited publicity, and the general maturing of the EV market.

Event Description
Exeter New Hampshire EV Day - National Drive Electric Week 2024
Date: Sunday September 29, 2024, 11:00AM-2:30PM
Location: Exeter Town Hall and Bandstand
Come join us for this fun family friendly annual event where you can learn about the benefits, use and ownership of electric vehicles. We will have multiple vehicles on display with owners available to answer questions and share experiences. In addition, several electric vehicle car dealers are expected to attend and offer test drives of their vehicles. Several info tables will provide timely information from the Exeter Energy Committee, Unitil Electric Utility and Revision Energy, including information about home EV charging. EV swag and coffee available too!
Event is rain or shine.
(**Please note that the event takes place around a busy public street and parking area open to traffic. Stay aware of moving vehicles. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.)
