Event Report
Beltrami Electric Co-op’s garage and parking lot were buzzing with interest at the 2024 EV Car Show / Ride & Drive event on Oct. 3, 2024.
Twenty-two electric cars (including an EV Blue Bird School Bus) were on display, and drivers enjoyed road testing five EVs (including a Ford Lightning, Chevy Bolt, Tesla Model 3, Polaris Ranger Kinetic, and a Chevy Blazer). Vehicles on display included a Tesla Cybertruck, Rivian fire truck, Nissan Ariya, Ford Mustang many Tesla models, and hosts of other makes and models.
Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to meet EV owners and find out first-hand
about the ins and outs and ups and downs of EVs.
Ace Hardware displayed many EGO yard tools, including a lawnmower and snowblower, a mini bike and more!
The Citizens Climate Lobby of Bemidji visited with attendees, sharing information about Federal and State tax credits for EVs and beneficial electrification.

Event Description
Don’t miss our EV Car Show on Thursday, Oct. 3, from 4 - 6
p.m., explore EVs like the Ford F-150 Lightning, Chevy Bolt, Tesla models, and
more. Take an EV test drive or ride an e-bike, and chat with EV owners to hear
about their experiences.
EV experts from Beltrami Electric Co-op and Otter Tail Power
Company will be available to discuss the latest charging technologies, home
charging programs, and cost-saving programs like off-peak and available rebates.
Don't miss the 5:00 p.m. presentation by Red Lake Schools on their new electric
school bus.
Enjoy cookies and refreshments and be one of the first 75
