Event Report

DRIVE Electric Arizona, Valley of the Sun Electric Vehicle Association, City of Phoenix Office of Sustainability, Salt River Project and Valley of the Sun Clean Cities Coalition partnered together to bring to Phoenix its premier N.D.E.W. event!

First, a huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers, coordinators, partners, sponsors and attendees. We could not have done this without you!

This year, we had fantastic support from community organizations and event sponsors. In addition to the organizers listed prior, we extend our deepest gratitude to: Acura of Tempe, American Solar & Roofing, Arizona Public Service, Arrowhead Cadillac, Audi Arrowhead, Buzze, Courtesy Automotive, Gateway Community College, Legacy EV, San Tan Ford, Waymo

Our event featured raffle prizes, generously donated by our sponsors and vendors. The “cost” of a raffle ticket was a free drive in an EV! Prizes included a portable EV wall charger, Google Nest Thermostat, Phoenix Zoo Tickets, a free Eco-Hitch installation, and other fantastic gifts and swag. Congratulations to our raffle winners!

The event was held adjacent to the Uptown Farmer’s Market, which has thousands of patrons each and every Saturday.

Event Description

DRIVE Electric Arizona, Valley of the Sun Electric Vehicle Association, City of Phoenix Office of Sustainability, Salt River Project (SRP), and Valley of the Sun Clean Cities Coalition are excited to bring you the Valley's premier Drive Electric Week Event!

Join us on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 8am to 12pm, and have your chance to get sit in, ride or drive an electric vehicle!  Presented to you by vehicle owners, this is your opportunity to learn about everything an electric vehicle has to offer. In addition to the environmental benefits of driving electric, the experience of driving an EV is unlike any other: exhilarating and fun!

There will be many EV's on display, and a large variety available for ride and drives.

** ALERT ** Take a vehicle for a test drive, be entered into a FREE RAFFLE drawing!

Additionally, there will be informational displays from event organizers and sponsors, including Valley of the Sun EVA, Salt River Project, Electrify Arizona, American Solar, San Tan Ford, Legacy EV, Courtesy Automotive Group, Buzze, Arrowhead Cadillac, Arizona Public Service, Arrowhead BMW, Rogue Electric Bikes, Audi of Arrowhead,  American Lung Association and others. This is a great way to become informed about what you can do as a consumer and resident to improve the quality of life for your family and community.

This is a family-friendly event, and participation is FREE!
