Event Report
22 Electric Vehicle drivers brought their personal EVs to show off and answer questions. We had a number of manufacturers represented from Tesla (models 3,Y,S, and Cybertruck), Polestar, Ford (F150 Lightning and Mach-E), GM (Bolt EV, Spark EV, and Equinox EV) among others.We used our F150 Lightning to power a coffee trailer provided by The Brim Coffee from North Albany. Their trailer normally uses two generators to generate the power needed to run the cart. Instead by plugging into the F150 Lightning they were able to fully utilize the coffee trailer and not burn gasoline. The F150 Lightning used about 6% of the battery in 4.5 hours of use.
A local contractor brought his Cybertruck and gave a few rides with others showing off the capabilities of the Cyber truck including the new Full Self Driving autopilot.
Pacific Power was a sponsor of our event which helped to bring the coffee trailer in and provide free drinks.
