welcome! This will be a great opportunity to see why folks are so excited about the
latest Electric Vehicles. Cars, trucks, bikes, buses,... EVs are the
new wave in transportation. See a variety of EVs up close and in
action. Drivers and other knowledgeable folks will be on site to answer
any and all questions. Representatives from Consumers Energy will also be there to share info on home charging incentive programs. We expect an all electric school bus to be on display! No
schedule, just come any time between 10 and 3 and stay as long or as briefly as you like.
We'll
be easy to find in the southeast part of the parking lot of a locally owned
grocery store. This store is only about 5 minutes
south of downtown Kalamazoo and there are a variety of places to obtain food and beverages nearby. See updates on this page and at
/KalamazooEVA/ on Facebook. This should be a great event, assuming the
weather holds. Big 'thank you' to our hosts at the Midtown Fresh
Market, be sure to mention us when you go in and buy your snacks.
EV Drivers:
Please RSVP on this site if you think you can come, and be
sure to check in at the main table when you arrive. It is your choice whether to take people
for rides or just do a static display. For safety, we will try to
segregate the display vehicles from the ones that may be going in and
out of the parking lot, so let us know your preference when you arrive.
