Event Report
On a beautiful fall day at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, dozens of local nonprofits and vendors set out to provide Longmont locals an array of alternatives to electrify their lives and reduce their carbon footprint. Attendees could learn from the enthusiastic owners of EVs spanning a variety of makes and models, including electric trucks, mid-size and compact vehicles, as well as e-bikes and e-motorcycles! Home electrification experts shared information about heat pumps and going solar.
Live music and kids activity areas created a festive mood for all, with sustainable arts and craft activities from Namastem, interactive movement and dance with Anima Arts, creative innovations from TinkerMill, guinea pig playmates from the Longmont Humane Society, and beautiful face art from Krystal Face Paint.
