Event Description
This year's Drive Electric Week Event - Rochester NY will be held at the I-Square site, 400 Bakers Park, Rochester, NY 14617. NOTE: If you are using a GPS, enter the Zip Code - some GPS units will send you to another "Baker" elsewhere in Rochester. This location is just off Titus Ave., next to the House of Guitars in Irondequoit.
Our local sponsors/partners for the event include the New York State Electric Auto Association (NYSEAA), Genesee Region Clean Communities, Inc. (GRCC), and I-Square (go to http://i-square.us/ to learn more about this exciting mixed-use zoned area).

Refreshments will be provided for attendees. The I-Square site offers a number of restaurant choices plus an ice cream shop (food for purchase). For more information including menus go to http://i-square.us/. You have the option of eating on the rooftop garden or at tables inside.
There are two dual Level 2 EVSE's on site serving four parking spots. These are on the Charge Point network - use of the EVSE's is free.
Rides will be available for those interested in learning more about electric vehicles. Currently there will be over 25 Plug in Electric Vehicles at the event including dealers bringing the Nissan Leaf (Vision) and the BMW i3 (West Herr). Other dealers with cars are also expected to attend.
Demonstrations will include the use of home and public charging stations plus the use of Solar Photovoltaics to charge your car at your home or business.
