Event Report
It’s a wrap - the 2024 DFW National Drive Electric Day was a blast! Attendees had the opportunity to go on test rides courtesy of Moritz Kia, do scavenger hunts, play games, and win gift cards to local businesses. One lucky winner got a Level 2 home charging station courtesy of North Texas Electric Auto Association, and a major highlight was the presentation of a Ford Mustang Mach-E to former U.S. Army Sargeant Chris Henry.
EVs that were displayed at the event included several EVs from the North Texas Tesla Owners Group, Amazon EV, Lucid Air, Porsche, Lone Star F-150 Lightning Club, North Texas Rivian Group, and more!

Test Drives: Current vehicles confirmed for the test drives include the Moritz KIA Alliance's KIA EV9s, KIA EV6, and KIA Niro EV
The first 100 people to participate in the Test Drives will receive a prize. Many more vehicles will be available on display, including the Grubbs Family of Dealership's Acura ZDX, Polestar 2, Polestar 3, Volvo XC90 Hybrid, Volvo XC60 Hybrid, and Volvo C40.
Electric Vehicle Giveaway: Former U.S. Army Sergeant will be honored for their service and sacrifice by receiving a payment-free electric vehicle by Military Warriors Support Foundation’s (MWSF) Transportation4Heroes program, in collaboration with Wells Fargo. The vehicle will be presented at the Fort Worth National Drive Electric Week event at 11:00am.
Prize Drawings: There will be two drawings, the first drawing at 12:00pm and the second at 1:45pm. See instructions on the scavenger hunt sheets for more information.
