Event Report
This was our fourth time organizing an Electric Vehicle Expo, and it was our best ever in terms of the diversity of makes and models of EVs on hand. Featured EVs never before seen at our Expo included the Ford E-Transit electric van, the Rivian R1S electric SUV, two Lucid Airs, and two Polestars. All told we had 34 EVs on hand, with 26 different models representing 16 different manufacturers: Audi, BMW, Chevy, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Lucid, Nissan, Polestar, Rivian, Smart, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo. Our most popular test-ride vehicle, as always, was the Tesla Model X with its gull-wing doors. In addition to EVs, we played host to a diverse collection of e-bikes. Exhibitors included Granite State Solar, Revision Energy, and the Community Power Coalition of New Hampshire. The Expo took place under sunny skies with temps in the 70s, and the backdrop of the Historical Village's 15 antique buildings and surrounding hayfields gave the Expo a charming 'new meets old' atmosphere. At the end of the event we held a raffle drawing where prizes included two portable EV charging units, an electric weed whacker, and more than a dozen gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses. All in all a memorable day!
