Can’t wait for NDEW 1024!

This event will be held at a shopping center where there used to be a grocery store. This area is now listed as a “Food Desert” by the USDA because there is no fresh food within 3-4 miles for many residents. There is also a high population of people living in apartments and Senior communities where there are no car charging facilities. Residents are forced to used fossil fuel vehicles because there is no charging allowed at the rentals and there are zero charging stations. We are hoping that having markets in this  mostly empty shopping center that emphasis living a sustainable lifestyle that we will bring attention to both the need for charging stations and access to healthy, fresh food.
