Event Report

This event was hosted in Bristol Rhode Island. Green Energy Consumers partnered with Ocean State Clean Cities to host an EV ride and drive and trunk or treat. We were joined by EcoRI and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (where OSCC is housed.) AAA was there to show off their battery charging truck for EVs that break down on the side of the road. Families enjoyed the trunk-or-treat with EVs, plus the lawn games, free food from local grocery store Dave's Marketplace, and of course test -drives from three local dealerships. Cars available for test-drives included a Tesla Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq and the Mercedez EQE. Cars participating in the trunk-or-treat included the Rivian R1T, Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, Polestar and Hyundai Ioniq. It was a rainy day near the beach so there wasn't a lot of natural traffic which led to light attendance overall
