Event Description
Welcome to National Drive Electric Week, 2023. This is our sixth year of Drive Electric events. Last year was a great event with 22 cars registered! Let's make this our biggest year
ever. Meet to see and learn about electric vehicles. We will have car
demonstrations and
answer questions. There will be access to the Library, restrooms and
simple refreshments including water and soft drinks. There is a lot
going on in Carlyle that day including a used book / video/ CD sale at our library. *** Please take a look at the list of the many vehicles already registered and we know more are coming including plug-in Jeep models, Mustang Mach-e, two Rivian vehicles and hopefully a Nissan Ariya.*** See you there!
If
you have a plug-in vehicle, please register via the "Participate"
button to display and answer questions about your car. There will be a
Level 2 Charger and some
110V outlets available for
charging, so bring your portable charger if you would like to use the
outlets! Afterwards people may choose to cruise their cars past the
lake and
meet at a local restaurant for lunch. Please contact us if you have any
