Event Report
With our Central Ohio location, we were surprised when we had EVs from 6 states in our display (Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Illinois, and Michigan)! Our venue, BrewDog DogTap, was definitely a draw for both EV owners and guests. BrewDog was very welcoming and offered us full use of their roadside parking lot which provided high visibility to traffic during the event (and a feature on the marquee board for the weeks prior that also helped to inform of our event).Over the course of the day, we had over 40 EVs on display. Popular models always include the Teslas (3, Y, S, and X), the Fords (F-150 Lightning and Mach-E), and the Chevy (Bolt and EUV). In the less common category was a Toyota BZ 4X, Cadillac Lyriq, Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Kia EV6. We were also super lucky to have a Polestar 2 loaned to us for test drives/rides as well as a brand new 2024 Polestar with display tent and Georgesville and Buckeye Nissan dealships teamed up to send us a pair of Ariya (one for display and one for drives/rides).
Beyond the dedication, passion, and time our volunteers poured into making sure everything was on point for our day (information tables, manning the ride & drives & EV Shuttle, making sure we had goodies for the prize wheel, doorprize drawings, creating materials & ads before hand, the list can go on and on), we wouldn't have the success we do without our wonderful partners. A great big thank you to BrewDog DogTap for letting us take over a full parking lot at no cost to us and for popping up a beverage tent so that people could keep hydrated throughout the day. Thank you as well to Columbus City Council for recognizing our community involvement by presenting the EVent with a Resolution. And our continued thanks to Sustainable Columbus, Green Columbus, Keep Columbus Beautiful, Electrify Central Ohio, Buckeye Nissan, Georgesville Nissan, PoleStar, The Ohio State University and Wilberforce University EcoCar Team, MooMoo Car Wash, Smart Columbus, Heartland Charging, MooMoo Car Wash, and EcoHouse Solar for supporting our event.

Event Description
Drive Electric Columbus is hosting our 8th annual National Drive Electric Week EVent on Saturday, September 30th from 12 pm to 4 pm at BrewDog DogTap (96 Gender Road).
Join us for our Electric Vehicle Showcase!
We will have fun swag items and EV information to give away. There will be door prize drawings throughout the day and loads of displays from our partner organizations.
BrewDog is going to have a beverage tent available and additional food is available to order for pickup.
