Event Report
Bedford2030 hosted a Clean Transportation event at the John Jay Homestead, a state historic site, in conjunction with the John Jay Farmers Market, on Saturday, September 30, 2023. We estimate a total of 600 attendees. We had a number of partners participate include: - Mt. Kisco Chevy (Bolt EUV) - Mt. Kisco BMW - Riviera Toyota - Vail Auto (electric hummer) - Katonah's first electric school bus! - Westchester County including an all electric BeeLine transit bus that attendees could board - 511 RideShare - Evolve NY - Bedford Mowers - including all electric large and small lawn equipment - Hickory & Tweed - a local bike shop with electric and regular bikes - NY League of Conservation Voters - including information on voting for electric infrastructure this fall - An Owners Corner that included: - Tesla Model Y - Rivian Truck -Tesla Model X - Tesla Model 3 - Hyundai Kona - Hyundai Ioniq 5 - VW ID4 - Chevy EUV - Chevy Volt - plug-in hybrid Jeep Wrangler - Several Polestars - Electric Porsche - 1970's Electric LeopardSpecial thank you to Alysa DiMarco at State Farm for sponsoring a bounce house that was a hit with kids and Toyota Riviera and Mt. Kisco Chevy for their donations helping off set event costs. We had significant rain issues and were luck to delay the event and still pull it off!

Event Description
Bedford 2030 hosts the third annual Clean Ride & Drive Event, this year at John Jay Homestead! Check out the John Jay Farmers Market and the EV Car Show!
Reducing transportation emissions is one of our priority action areas. Our goal is to help community members learn more about how to improve their environmental impact from transportation, and ultimately to help advance our Town’s greenhouse gas reduction goals.
Join us for a day of fun as we:
- See the newest EV cars models
- Step in an electric school bus
- Chat with a local bike shop
- Check out electric lawn equipment
- Enjoy delicious food and live music!
