Event Description
The Sierra Club Vermont is teaming up with the Burlington Electric Dept (BED) to run a "ride and drive" event as part of the second annual Net Zero Energy Festival. BED is hosting this family-friendly event to help reduce fossil fuel usage and save Burlingtonians money.
As part of National Drive Electric Week, the Vermont Sierra Club is coordinating the EV Ride and Drive event at the festival. Vehicle electrification is an important part of Burlington’s plan to drive down emissions on the road to achieving net zero. The Ride and Drive event will include dozens of EVs shown by their owners. There will also be e-bike demos (and possibly an electric motorcycle!), electric lawn equipment, heat pump and solar panel experts, kids' activities, music, and food trucks.
All are welcome! If you have an EV please register to show it <<
Join us in the fun on Saturday, September 23! (Rain date Sept 24)
