Event Report
Drive Electric Columbia, powered by McDaniels Porsche, Subaru and VW, held another well attended EV awareness event Saturday September 23rd from 9am to 1pm in the middle of Soda City Market. Thousands of attendees were able to see over 50 EVs, e-bikes, motorcycles and a 1974 VW Beetle EV conversion. Community and financial support was provided by Palmetto Clean Fuels Coalition, Boss Energy, Classic Ford, Stivers Hyundai, Genesis of Columbia, Highline PPF, B106.7 FM, and Powers Insurance Experts. We appreciate all our sponsors and supporters along with the continued support from the City of Columbia Police Department and the Soda City Market.

Event Description
Join us for the 10th edition of the National Drive Electric Week event! Soda City Market on Main St will be the host and McDaniels Porsche will be our presenting sponsor again this year on Saturday September 23rd from 9am - 1pm as part of the nationwide celebration to raise awareness of the many benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars, trucks, motorcycles and more. Our event will feature a variety of electric vehicles from Tesla, Porsche, Ford, VW, Audi, Nissan, Rivian, Lucid, Kia, Hyundai, Volvo, Polestar, Genesis and more. You'll have the opportunity to speak with local EV owners to learn about their experience driving electric, road trips and saving money on gas and maintenance.
