Come see a variety of Electric Vehicles and chat with the owners about their experiences driving/riding electric. Vehicles will be set up outside of Stone Soup Books (open 10a-4p), next to the new Blue Ridge Children's Museum natural playground (open dawn to dusk). Look for the mural by Kimchi Juice on the Race Ave side of Stone Soup books and the "Kaiya" mural on the tall building across Short Street. And get a front row seat for the new mural underway at the Children's Museum building by local artist Chicho Lorenzo. Children can submit their mural ideas and play on the playground. Virginia Clean Cities will provide literature and information on everything you need to know about EV's. Overflow parking for attendees in the city lot at 101 Short Street.
Located across the street from Constitution Park and the Greenway trail along side the South River, two blocks from the weekly Farmers' Market (9a-1p), four blocks from the yearly Apple Days Arts & Crafts Show (9a-5p), 1.5 miles from the annual British Car Show (9a-5p), and a ten minute drive from Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
EV DRIVERS: let's caravan across town to the the British car show at 2pm, park together, and then check a bit of automotive history with the awards ceremony there at 3pm :-)
