Event Report

This event was a big success for our team here at Tennessee Tech. Thank you to all those involved, and we appreciate everyone who came out to hear how our projects are going!

Thank you Drive Electric TN for helping us set up and host this event, and our great community members for coming out and showcasing their personal EVs. We'd also like to thank Ford Lincoln of Cookeville for allowing us to showcase their F150 Lightning at this event!

Event Description

An electric vehicle (EV) Ride & Drive event will come to the Cookeville Sam's Club on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 from 10 am – 2 pm. This event will give all participants a chance to test drive an EV first hand and see the newest vehicle technologies. Visitors are also welcome to chat with our students and faculty about the EV ecosystem and ask any questions that come to mind about EVs or their chargers.

Do you own an EV or hybrid vehicle and want to share your experiences with others? Visit at any point and talk with us or other visitors about your car and the benefits and challenges of EV adoption. We'd love to see your car!

We will be at the EV fast chargers in the Sam's Club parking lot with a variety of fully electric and hybrid electric vehicles, including a Ford Mustang Mach-E, Nissan Leafs, a plug-in hybrid F250, and a brand-new F150 Lightning from Ford Lincoln of Cookeville.
