NOTE: EVENT IS SEPT 10th !!

The Ellis Hollow Fair draws rural families from a range of backgrounds, political persuasions, incomes (including Cornell University professors, local farmers, service families, etc). The Fair has run for 60+ years and last year (Sept 2021) we had the first Electric Vehicle show smack in the middle of the fair (right next to the Horse drawn hay rides, the cotton candy stall, and the Dunking Booth)! It was a great success - LOTS of visitors with questions. EV owners were superstars, showing their affordable EVs  (plug-in or all electric). Conversations flowed around costs, savings, charging, the EV acceleration smile & the future of transportation in Tompkins County.

We also ran a very successful Drive Electric Earth Day EV show in April 2022. Our work is NOWHERE NEAR done. So many people still struggle to change their perceptions of EVs.

We intend to use the Drive Electric materials (signs, banners, etc) again for the upcoming September 10th event.

ALL EV owners welcome to contact us and consider joining this useful, jolly, community-run education that will likely lead to more EVs on the back roads of rural New York State - where people make the miles and could really be reducing their carbon footprint!
