Event Report
We secured two volunteers with BEVs for ride-alongs, reserved the meeting room, and prepared for our first-ever "Intro to EVs" presentation.
We're a little disappointed that we had zero attendees for the presentation, but we were able to use the presentation time to learn more about the sustainability efforts of the totally awesome Extreme E racing series and watch some of the racing in Chile.
The outdoor attendees were mostly the 'shy but curious' types that walked by slowly as they looked at the cars. A couple of the interactions wanted to know how much we were selling the cars for (what a strange question hahaha).
Special "Thank you" to the lovely ladies of the library for allowing us to use the spaces.

Event Description
Introduction to Electric Vehicles - What's it like driving a coal-powered? and other frequently asked questions.
Presentation will answer every question I've been asked in the last three years, from the most basic to the most advanced. Topics will include financial benefits, choosing the right EV for your lifestyle, EV charging, ERCOT grid mix, how electric vehicles can improve grid resiliency, how the shift to electrified transportation has already and will continue to benefit the Texas economy and more.
After the presentation and Q&A, we will move to the parking lot where at least one BEV will be displayed and available to touch and take a short ride around the block.
Vehicle(s) will be cleaned between rides with disinfectant sprays and wipes.
Paper masks and hand sanitizer will be available.
