Event Report

Metropolitan Energy Center merged two of our favorite times of the year, NDEW and Energy Efficiency Month, into one big event: Energy Action Day. At EAD, we supplied our guests with actionable items that they can do right now to lower their energy bills and create a more efficient environment. We had demonstrations showing different types of insulation and we had a door blower to show them what an energy audit would look like. In addition, we had a ride and drive where our dealerships were able to provide us with a Ford Mustang Mach E and a Ford F-150 Lightning. We also had several static displays. We were able to have one of our preferred dealerships, Computerized Auto Search speak at the event as well as Ajia Morris, our keynote speaker, who discussed environmental justice in the KC area. And we had a food truck! Koosharina supplied authentic Egypitan food for all who were there. Overall it was a great event with great people!
