Event Report
This NDEW event was locally sponsored by the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition's Transportation Action Team. Forty owners of 29 plug-in electric cars and 14 electric bikes registered and/or attended with the following types of vehicles: Tesla Model 3 (5), Arcimoto SRK (3), Ford F-150 Lightning (2), Ford Mustang Mach-E (2), BMW Mini-E (1), Chevrolet Bolt (1), Chevrolet Volt (1), Chevy Spark EV (1), Fiat 500e (1), Hyundai Kona Electric (1),Kia Niro Electric (1), Kia EV6 GT (1), Nissan Leaf (2011-2017) (1), Nissan Leaf (2018+) (1), Polestar 2 (1), Tesla Model X (1), Tesla Roadster (1), Tesla Model Y (1), Toyota RAV4 Prime 4WD (1), Volvo XC40 Recharge Twin (1), and a Toyota pickup 1996 conversion (1), plus various makes of electric bikes, trikes, uniwheels, boards, and scooters. Two local electric bicycle dealers attended, but in spite of invitations, no electric car dealers came because they had no EVs on hand to show. EV owners were identified by blue ribbons around their necks. About 75 members of the public attended during the 3-hour event to ask questions of the EV owners, see the vehicles up close, and get printed information about EV options and charging.

Event Description
The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition invites the public to learn about and see electric-powered cars, bicycles, and scooters, as presented first-hand by local owners, on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from Noon to 3 pm at the parking lot of First Congregational Church, 4515 SW West Hills Road, Corvallis, Oregon. Car makes shown will likely include Volvo, VW, Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Chevrolet, Nissan, Tesla, and Arcimoto, along with a variety of electric bikes, scooters, and boards. Find out how electric transportation saves money and helps the earth, and with many options and locations for charging, is feasible today for everyone!
