Event Report
The Maui Nui EV Association is pleased to have received a proclamation from Mayor Mike Victorino declaring September 23 - October 2, 2022 as National Drive Electric Week in the County of Maui.The public event at University of Hawaii Maui College was organized by the EV Awareness Campaign of Maui County and the Maui Nui EV Association, with sponsorship by National Drive Electric Week, Drive Electric Hawaii, Ulupono Initiative, Blue Planet, the County of Maui Office of Economic Development and the County of Maui.
The EV Awareness Campaign, Maui Nui EV Association, Citizens' Climate Lobby and Hawaiian Electric Company tabled and provided information to event visitors.
A Maui Nui EV Association member showed his blue Ford F-150 Lightning truck, just received the day before and the first one on Maui.
30 new EV drivers and EV curious attendees joined the Maui Maui EV Association.

Event Description
Come see and test drive new EV models on Drive Electric Day September 24, 10am-2pm at the University of Hawaii Maui College campus. We are meeting up by the charging stations in the parking lot closest to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
