Event Report
Our cars all showed up and all the drivers were great. They made positive contacts and the Tesla especially attracted several people. An elder from Lincoln City led our parade group off in his Smart Electric Drive with another elder from Depoe Bay and a twin Smart-E alongside. Then we had 5 LEAFs and the Tesla brought up the rear. Our cars also carried a former mayor and an original city councilman for Lincoln City and State Rep. Gomberg walked through during staging.

Event Description
Update 8/3/15: Space is limited for this event. We will be "wait listing" Nissan LEAFs registering after today because we've had such fantastic response from LEAF owners! However, keep registering and we will keep you posted via E-mail if there is more space available or if we have cancellations.
Lincoln City Parade for National Drive Electric Week
We’ve been invited to bring a group of electric cars to Lincoln City’s 50th Celebration parade. The parade
will run through town from the Lincoln City Cultural Center to the Lincoln City
Recreation Center. Charging stations are
available behind the Cultural Center (Aerovironment) as well as ChargePoint
stations in Taft and downtown. More
details will be forthcoming regarding the parade. It’s a great way to celebrate a landmark
birthday for Lincoln City and have two events to bookend National Drive
Electric Week in our area!
