To see many of the plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles currently on the roads and in Long Island Dealer show rooms venture over to the Long Island Family Festival at Tanner Park in Copiague on Sunday September 18^th.  Organized by the Long Island Chapter of the Sierra Club, you will have the opportunity to see many of the  plug-in hybrid and battery electric vehicle models in one place and to speak with enthusiastic owners and dealer representatives about the features of the vehicles on display, their performance, and why they are fun to drive.

Plug In America, the Sierra Club, and the Electric Auto Association have been organizing National Electric Drive Week since 2011. Currently there are  205 scheduled events  across the country for the week of September 25 – October 2.
