Event held in conjunction with community event. Good attendance and interaction.

Event Description

Shaker Heights has an annual Touch A Truck event where kids (of all ages!) can sit in fire trucks, police cars, bulldozers, and other city vehicles. For the third year, this event also includes a wide variety of electric vehicles from the local EV car club "Drive Electric NEO".

If you are an EV driver, please consider bringing and displaying your vehicle - this is an EV showcase event (not a ride & drive). Walker Road will be closed to traffic so we can fill it with EVs. Please register so we know how much space to reserve and arrive by 9:00am on the day of the event if possible. Entry is from Farnsleigh Road (Tuttle will be closed to traffic).

If you are interested in electric vehicles this is the perfect event to see a wide variety of EVs that local owners drive every day - so they can answer your questions about range, snow, charging, and maintenance.  Ask all of the questions you don't want to ask the dealer - our members have seen it all!
