Event Report
The owners of 15 EVs braved the windy weather and smoky skies to talk to hundreds of people about why they love EV technology! One great thing about our event is the range of vehicles there, from older EVs like 2011 Leaf, e-Golf, and an adorable iMiEV, to shiny new Rivian, Polestar, EV6, ID4, Mustang, and Tesla models. The fact that the Ford F150 Lightning had to cancel the morning of the event because of forest fires in the area just emphasized our need to stop using fossil fuels! After 4 hours straight of conversations, we hope we helped a few people feel comfortable with the decision to go electric! Thank you to the Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair for once again hosting this event because they believe so strongly that getting off of fossil fuels is a way to a cleaner, safer world, and thank you to all the owners who gave up a big chunk of their Saturday to help spread the word.

Event Description
Welcome to Vancouver's annual gathering of EV owners (minus two years of Covid!)
partnering with the 19th annual Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair! Who brings their personal car to stand around and talk to strangers for hours?
EV OWNERS DO!!!
We are passionate about the technology -- how it is a blast to drive 🎉 , saves money💰 , and can help save the planet 🌍 ! Come take a ride with an EV owner in their car, or take a test drive in a beautiful Polestar! We park on the brick plaza around the Clock Tower at Esther Short Park,
so we are limited to 14 or 15 vehicles and are looking for diversity of models.
We have a big range of vehicles, from the small Mini Cooper SE and Mitsubishi iMiEV to the Rivian pickup;
We have a brand-new VW ID.4 (delivered last month) and an original 2011 Leaf.
Lots of variety to see!
With so many passers-by coming to the VPJ Fair and Farmers Market, the day flies by.
If you are just curious about EVs, then please come because you are the whole reason we are gathering!
