Event Description
Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services is excited to partner with three other local organizations, St. Croix Electric Cooperative, University of Wisconsin-River Falls Office of Sustainability, and Hope for Creation, to host the 2022 Powered by Electricity event. This is our second annual Powered by Electricity event. This year's event will include speakers presenting on topics such as Electric Vehicles 101, Community Solar vs. Residential Solar installation, and Energy Storage. We will have round-table discussions where EV drivers can share their experiences in small group settings. There will be an electric vehicle showcase and vendors providing samples of electric equipment and tools like snowblowers, lawnmowers, tree trimming and chain saws, electric bicycles, to name just a few. A local non-profit will have a food stand where visitors can purchase water, pop, hot dogs and brats.
