Event Report
The Drive Electric was a small portion of an Earth Day event. The Drive Electric was a promoted with all the other stuff going on, and with Facebook, Twitter and the Midland Daily News paper information about the whole event (and there being EVs) easily 'hit' over 45K viewers. Tesla had an official 'booth' and raffled off a free day rental but did not do test drives. One person who saw the event listed on Drive Electric drove 60 miles to show off his Model Y. In total, 5 Tesla, 1 Toyota Hybrid (non-plugin) and 1 Bolt were present for the 4 hour event. Lack of cars in our area and me not knowing about being able to 'present' the even on your website until 6 days before hampered a better showing. Hoping that next year I will get an earlier start and that EV availability will be better.

Event Description
Midland Local Section of the American Chemical Society, Dow High Go Green Club, Midland Center for the Arts, Midland Recyclers, and Michigan State University St. Andrews are sponsoring an Earth Day Action Expo on Sunday, April 24th from 12-4pm at the Dow High School. There will be food trucks, hands-on-science, art, and ecology-focused activities, as well as e-bikes shown by Ray's Bike Shop and Electric Vehicles (so far Tesla, Chevrolet). EV owners are also welcome to bring and show off their EV - the parking lot is large and there is no charge to participate.
This is a free event for the whole family and 40+ exhibitors will be at the Expo!
Demo an e-bike, examine insects, build model wind turbines, learn about native plants, do hands-on activities & science experiments, fuel up at the food trucks, check out several Electric Vehicles, and so much more! Some vendors are raffling off prizes just for attending so come and enjoy!
