Event Report

It was a beautiful night for a car show.... nice weather, nice crowd. The local EV owners had various schedule conflicts, so only one EV was present. There were a lot of other events in the area that night, so the car count was low and the crowd was small. No haters this time, great questions and lengthy interactions from ICE owners and show spectators.
I know many other EAA chapters would consider this event an abysmal failure, but I consider it a success. My lone rider is now a former hater. A year ago he said I was an idiot for buying an electric car, but I finally got his butt in the seat. After the ride was over he said, "I take it back. I was wrong. You're right. I really wasn't expecting to be this impressed."
