Event Description

 

Interest in electric vehicles (EVs) is growing and they are rapidly becoming more common on our roadways. In recent months, there have been several announcements regarding investments in EVs and electric vehicle charging. Still, many have questions about the cost, range, charging infrastructure and what an electric future may look like. 

This event will take a look at how students and professionals are working to accelerate electric vehicle adoption and prepare for mobility of the future.

Technology Takes the Wheel® is a free, educational seminar series that explores autonomous vehicles and their societal impacts.

These events are presented by AAA, DriveOhio, The Ohio State University Center for Automotive Research, the Transportation Research Center, Columbus State Community College, and Smart Columbus.

FORMAL PRESENTATION: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

  • Keynote Speaker: Jordan Davis, Executive Director, Smart Columbus
  • Students from Herbert Mills STEAM Elementary School in Reynoldsburg will showcase their “Smart Reynoldsburg” projects and share their vision for the future
