Event Report

This zoom event was presented by our expert, Charlie Loeb of the Emerald Valley Electric Vehicle Association with the help of panelists, Al LePage and Phil Barnhart. Charlie’s 35 minute presentation covered the differences between ICE vehicles and EVs in a way to help relieve anxiety for those not familiar with EVs. He dispelled several persistent myths and answered questions from attendees.

Because this rEVup event was publicized through NDEW in addition to our local publicity we had two attendees from far away including one from the Outer Cape on the Atlantic Ocean, at least 3000 miles away ( the wonders of the internet). Her question definitely added to the program (and it was one we could answer).

All are welcome at our future internet events as well. Go to rEVupOregon.org to learn about them and register. Add your email address to our notice list at contact@eveva.org.  We will not distribute your email address and we will not spam you. If you would like information on helping at future in-person events, let us know that too.

Event Description

Emerald Valley EVA has presented rEVup Oregon zoom events regularly for more than a year. Two of them are in September, one on September 14 at 7PM and another September 29 at noon, the one you can sign up for here. These presentations are a great introduction to the nuts and bolts of  EVs. There will be ample time for your questions. This is a short event you could recommend to your friends and neighbors who are curious about EVs, but not ready to buy. A great EV 101 presentation which is up to date with the latest information.
