We had a visit from a local solar vendor, who brought a drone and showed video. We had volunteers from the Friends of the Case-Halstead Public Library. We all enjoyed seeing new electric vehicles such as the Volkswagen ID.4 Ford Mustang Mach-E and Audi eTron.

Event Description
Welcome to our 3rd Annual Drive Electric Week event here in Carlyle Illinois! Located a few blocks from Carlyle Lake, the Case-Halstead Public Library is once again hosting. We will have plenty of cars to see and refreshments as well. Restrooms are available in the Library. Please bring your questions and visit with happy and enthusiastic plug-in car owners ready to tell you about their "ride". There WILL be one Level 2 charger on site: we ARE getting a new one in time for the event!! There are some outside regular A/C outlets for Level 1 chargers to plug in so please bring your charger if you need one.
Please register on this page if you would like to volunteer to help or bring a vehicle. Tell your friends who drive electric to do the same.
Stay tuned: there may be other library events on the same day. More information coming. Let's make this the biggest year yet!
