Event Report
Highlights: 1930 Hupmobile that was converted to 'cruise' on battery power. The owner gets it up to speed with the still-intact V8 and then he switches over to battery power.No speakers - our audio system wasn't really conducive to having people talk.
Sponsor: Chicago Area Clean Cities.
Unique attribute: as a club, we promoted our new awards - EAGL Awards - Earth, Air, & Green Leadership. Even though I promoted it via many facebook groups & other social media, nobody turned in a nomination. We will keep pushing this idea as it is a natural connection to our club and getting the word out about EVs, sustainability, and a cleaner Earth.
Negative: a major roadway next to our event site was closed due to bridge construction at the one end. What's normally a super busy road thru my town had zero vehicular traffic which killed out natural attendance (drive-bys).

Event Description
Get out, shake off the dust, and join the Fox Valley Electric Auto Association for a great day of electric vehicle fun & education.
We will be doing ride-n-drives (if permitted), presenting about our many club vehicles (both OEMs and home-builts), sharing expert information, stories of "Life with an EV", and the "EV grin".
