Event ReportFriends of Rogers hosted our 3rd annual Electric Car Show on October 3rd, 2021 at Rogers Center in Sherburne, NY . We had 162 attendees and at least 34 cars on property. Day started rainy and event ended with rain, but in between we all had a great time. Several car owners offered rides in different model EV's such as Tesla Y, Tesla 3, Tesla 3 AWD, Mitsubishi Outlander, Honda Clarity and Toyota Rav 4 Prime. We had other models on site such as Audi E-tron, Mustang Mach-E, Nissan Leaf, Hyundai KONA, Chevy Bolt, Toyota Prius Prime. We had a food truck, Brake From the grind, on site serving farm to truck fresh food and using paper boxes and wood utensils, which was well received by all. Our raffle table was a big hit as well as the 50/50. The giveaway items were also great! Mayor Bill Acee brought the Town of Sherburne EV to show for the 3rd year. Livingston Energy was there with information on charging stations, NP Geothermal and Chenango County Planning Dept. and Intelligent Green Solutions had info on alternative energy sources for homes. It was a great event with lots of mingling and information exchanged between drivers of different vehicles and people curious about driving electric. Fox40 news covered the event and went on a ride along in the Tesla Y.
All attendees and volunteers are required to wear face masks whenever they are within six feet of another person at all National Drive Electric Week 2021 events. Please see this information about how to improve how your mask protects you. For more information, see our in-person event safety requirements.

Vendors for Solar, Geothermal, charging stations, Electric Bikes and home energy services will be there along with several car dealers with EV's.
