Event Report

Denver Metro Clean Cities partnered with CLEER, Northern Colorado Clean Cities, 4CORE, Xcel Energy, and the Colorado Energy Office to host an EV 101 workshop to educate consumers about electric vehicles, including available models in Colorado, tax incentives, perspectives from EV drivers, and charging information. ReCharge coaches, Gabriella Perkins, Sonja Meintsma, Stefan Johnson, Laurie Dickson, Diego Lopez, and Amy Maxey also held breakout room sessions to provide region-specific information to attendees. Thanks to Alisa Sobczak from Xcel Energy for also providing information on EV charging in the Denver Metro Region.

Denver Metro Clean Cities also announced the launch of Drive Electric Colorado, a statewide initiative to increase awareness of and educate consumers about electric vehicles and resources. Included in this launch was the EV Experience Scavenger Hunt, an app-based game providing the opportunity for individuals to complete missions related to electric vehicles as part of Colorado's EV-friendly landscape.
