The free session on "Electrification of Transportation and Climate Change Impact”, featured a statement from NC Governor Roy Cooper regarding North Carolina’s focus and efforts toward electrification and reduction of transportation emissions.  Governor Cooper also issued a proclamation supporting NDEW and declaring it NC Dive Electric Week.  The session will featured an expert panel that including automotive and truck OEMs, as well as national non-profit organizations involved in transportation electrification and air quality.  Diverse perspectives the opportunities, progress, considerations, plans, necessary changes and advances to build the ecosystem to support a successful transition to electric transportation were explored.
