Event Report
Xcel Energy hosted three days of electric vehicle test drives for our employees and customers. Six local auto dealers—White Bear Mitsubishi, Kline Nissan, Audi Minneapolis, Jaguar Minneapolis, Tesla Eden Prairie and Rosedale Chevrolet—partnered with us to provide a variety of EV models for display and test drives and representatives to answer questions. During the three days, 76 people got behind the wheel of an EV on a test drive. We also worked with White Bear Mitsubishi, Kline Nissan, Audi Minneapolis, Jaguar Minneapolis, Tesla Eden Prairie, Rosedale Chevrolet, Eden Prairie Nissan, Motorwerks BMW and GS Motors to offer an EV ride & drive sweepstakes. The sweepstakes encourages local customers to test drive an EV at a dealership through October for a chance to win a $250 gift card.

Where: Xcel Energy corporate headquarters - 401 Nicollet Mall alley, Minneapolis
When: Tuesday, 9/17 & Wednesday, 9/18 from 10:00am to 2:00pm
We partnered with local auto dealerships to offer a range of different models like Chevy Bolt, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, Nissan Leaf, Tesla Model 3 and Audi e-tron.
