Event Report
Our first annual Drive Electric Viroqua event was well attended by EV owners and enthusiasts. It took place in the parking lot of our local food cooperative. Earlier this year the coop installed a Level 2 EV charger. The Viroqua Food Co-op co-sponsored the event along with Ethos Green Power a local solar installer. Most of the EV drivers also have solar power to create electricity and keep the cost of personal transportation extremely low in comparison with gas powered equivalence. The highlights were the many people who had their first ever experience driving a car powered with electricity. It's always fun to be part of that transformation of understanding. And little by little, spreading the good word about clean green electric power.
